Without further ado. Here’s Ashley! ……

Hi friends! I was so excited to get my “Intentional Love” Bible Study Kit! It is overflowing with thought provoking lessons so I jumped right in.

Today I worked on page 25 “How does God want us to Love” during my devotional time. I love how this study dives right into the Word and guides us through the lessons we need to learn.

Philippians 2:1-5  Christ’s Example of Humility

“So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,”

All of the things we need to do to please God are right here in this passage.  4 easy steps!

1.      Treat each other with Love.

2.      Work together in Love.

3.      Think of others with Love.

4.      Think of ourselves in Love.

These are all so important,  so I put them right into the margins of my Bible!

It is very easy to create a page using the goodies in the kit. I pulled out the washi, a tab and a few stickers. Grab a few of your other supplies and get started!

If you find yourself struggling to start, follow these 5 steps to creating a creative page.

1.     Background: watercolor paint, acrylic paint, ink, colored pencils, markers, watercolor pencils, etc.

2.     Texture: add pieces, die cuts, cut outs, stickers, etc.

3.     Pattern: use stamps, stencils, washi, etc.

4.     Focal Point: write words, main image, word stickers, alpha stickers, etc.

5.     Details: add pen details

How well have you been following these four steps to loving like Christ?

Happy creating!
