Thankful For Purpose

This past Friday night I helped our director host a “a moms night out” (which ironically was held at the church we hold our Classical Conversations community day each week). I am not sure how the ladies felt about it, but it was a MASSIVE blessing to me.

You may be surprised to hear this, but I struggle each time I put a new study in the mail to all of my amazing customers, or stand in front of people and speak about Gods Word. It doesn’t matter how many times people tell me they love it, I still feel like I God had just pulled me up from raging waters each time I step in front of anyone (or my study books do!).

I did get a little bit of feedback from people who loved it (Yay!) and I think it is safe to say, that the tone of the conversations and the fellowship over all, point to the idea that others were pleased also.

I asked them all to write on this banner when we were finished with the Bible discussion portion and what they did was amazing. Each one just wrote something in response or what they took away. My heart was happy to see that these ladies hearts were knitted just a little bit tighter together.

Homeschooling is hard. Doing it with classical conversations is even harder. We need each other. We need to remember that we do have a purpose still there, hiding behind all of the chaos and tears. That God has one for us too, and all we need to do is walk in obedience. Wait for Him to gently nudge us in the right direction (or maybe shove…) and most of all. Support each other along the way.

So we didn’t forget Our shared purpose,  I made some necklaces for these beautiful mamas to help them keep going.

Jesus, my prayer for these mamas as well as all other Cc communities around the country, is that you help us to always remember to look for YOUR purpose and to follow that path so we can show your power and spread your name.

I also pray Colossians 2:2 over these ladies and all of the other CC Communities in the country. But more on that to come soon….

Happy Sunday y’all!!
